By Black Richmond is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization that I founded in response to years of patronizing and encouraging Black owned businesses in my hometown. Our mission is to close the racial wealth gap by cultivating Black Excellence.
Second Baptist Church
Second Baptist Church has been the faith based home of my family for at least seven generations. My pastor, Dr. James Henry Harris, is a scholar and trusted mentor.

CreativeMornings is the world’s largest face-to-face community. We believe that everyone is creative and everyone is welcome. As a member of the organizing team of the Richmond chapter, I help coordinate and produce a monthly speaker series designed to inspire you and encourage you to make things you love.
The National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals
The National Society of Black Wedding and Event Professionals was created to provide equal opportunity through representation, recognition and exposure. As a founding board member, my focus is to support the organization through financial management, policy creation, and as a local ambassador.
The Jackson Ward Collective
The Jackson Ward Collective is a hub that connects Black business owners to each other and to resources that can help Black businesses thrive. As a service partner, I teach business finance classes and share with members seeking accounting and general business management advice.
